Coming Soon: Bake Sale To Raise Money for Animal Shelter!   

A bake sale is coming in June! Fourth grade students at Colonial are raising money for the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter. Many sweet treats will be there for you to enjoy. 

The location where you are able to buy these sweet treats is located at Woodland park at 11:00 AM. Sweets included are : “Pearly Peppermint Bark,” which is a homemade peppermint bark that has edible pearls in it, (to justify the Under The Sea theme this bakesale is trying to reach). More treats included are: “Beta Brownies,” “Edible Cookie Dough,” and finally, the most exciting sweet, a make your own crepe station!           

There will be ingredients that you can use in your crepes, those being freshly cut strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, powdered sugar, nutella, melted chocolate, whipped cream, marshmallows, and finally, bananas. For those who are allergic to some of the ingredients, all toppings will be kept separate and all options will be constantly made to keep food fresh.
