It is year of the rabbit. Lunar New Year is a time of festivity with celebrations that includes exchanging gifts. Usually red envelopes that contain money.
The most popular celebration is the lion dance. It usually has 2 people. One person is the body and one is the head. Colonial was lucky enough to have a lion dance celebration come to our school.
