To wrap up Colonial’s Read-A-Thon this year, we worked with 914 Cares to give Westchester kids new books and pajamas. On February 27, 2025 we filled the van. Fill the Van is a way for cougars to donate and give back to the community. I hope you donated to Fill the Van!
Many students were very excited to donate! Emilia from 5S said, “I have always been into donating to people in need.” That is exactly what Fill the Van is all about. Millie from 5S also donated to the fund. She said, “I think it was a great thing for the school to do because it allows us to give back and I think it was a good opportunity for people to realize that a lot of people don’t have as much as we do.” Finally, Caitlyn from 5P thinks, “I think Fill the Van was a good idea.” It was a fun way to donate to kids in need all over Westchester.
