Did you ever notice the banners hanging in the gym? Well, those are for the Kids Heart Challenge. The Kids Heart Challenge is an annual event and fundraiser to help kids with cardiorespiratory endurance. It raises money by donations, Colonial students do activities to help raise money. The predecessor for this was the Hop-A-Thon.
The Kids Heart Challenge is an event that takes place every year. According to Tommy Bagwell, “You earn money from relatives and friends if you finish fitness challenges, and you donate the money to help children in children’s hospitals.”
Lilah Schwarz in 4G said, “I am very excited for it because working out is healthy!” Caroline Kapplow in 4A said, “I am excited for the Kids Heart Challenge because it is spectacularly fun!”
