The Colonial Red girls team won the championships! It was held at Hutchison school at 6:00 p.m on Friday March 8.
They played Prospect navy. The first half was exciting, the scores going back and forth. At half time it was tied 10-10. At half time Colonial Reds coaches Harry and Devan gave a pep talk. After Halftime Colonial Red came out strong leading 16-10. Both teams were trying their hardest and the Final score was 22-15 Colonial red.
All of Colonial Reds fans came pouring onto the court everyone on Colonial Red was so excited. Both teams played great. Colonial Red kept the girls basket title for Colonial. All players on Colonial Red were very proud. Betty Sweeney from 4M said “ I enjoyed playing with friends!” For all Rec teams the season came to an end. It was a great season for everyone and congrats to Colonial red girls team!
